Contact

Write when there is a real place for the letter to land.

No street address or phone number is published, because none was provided. Email appears as a link only after a monitored mailbox is saved and marked verified.

Email

No public email is listed yet. A mailto link is turned on only after a real, monitored mailbox is saved in js/config.js and contactEmailVerified is set to true.

Setup example, not a mailbox

info@bluebirdbounty.org is only an example of how an address could look. It is not Bluebird Bounty’s published contact. This project did not buy bluebirdbounty.org, create a mailbox, or add MX records. Mail sent to that example is not received by this organization.

The intended public website is https://bluebirdbounty.org. That address is the planned canonical URL in these pages. The domain is not registered, hosting is not configured, and the site is not deployed there.

Before you paste an address into contactEmail:

  1. Buy and control the domain yourself. The name above is the one you chose. It was not purchased for you.
  2. Choose an email provider and create a mailbox you can open.
  3. At your DNS host, add that provider’s MX records, plus SPF, DKIM, and DMARC as they instruct.
  4. Send a test from an outside inbox and confirm a person replies from the new mailbox.
  5. Paste the address into contactEmail and set contactEmailVerified to the boolean true. The footer and this page then show a mailto link.

The site cannot see your DNS. Setting the switch is your confirmation that the mailbox works. Steps for the website itself are in the README under deployment. That work is not done.

Message

This form does not send email. Nothing is delivered until a form service is connected in js/config.js. The mailto link is also off until a verified mailbox is saved there. The two are separate.
